ABSORB, ACCENTUATE & APPLAUD. From The Letter “A” Discussion @ The LISTEN UP NETWORKING GROUP.

Hello David, Bruce, Peggy, Art and the rest of the Group.
You have to wonder how much further we can go with the A’s but I wanted to add a few more. Absorb, Accentuate and Applaud.
Absorb as much useful information as you can then Act upon that information.
Answer this question. Five frogs are sitting on a log three of them decide to jump off; how many frogs are left?
The answer is five. Deciding to jump off and actually jumping off are two totally different things. Deciding to put what you learned into Action and actually putting it into Action are also two totally different things. If you don’t Attempt to change how you NETWORK your NETWORKING outcome will not change.
Another “A” is Accentuate your positives. We all have different talents, realize yours and build upon them. Are you presently showcasing your specific talents? Art Lazar, you obviously have a talent for encouraging others thank you for using it.
At this time I would like to publicly congratulate Peggy, also known as Margaret Hammond, for landing her new position. I want you all to know that Peggy continually works on her game. Peggy first heard me speak in Parma where she presented her 30 second elevator speech during the fourth session. Peggy felt that she wanted to further practice her speech and asked if she could come out to Lakeland Community College the following week and present again.
Peggy was the first person to arrive that night. When it was her turn she gave a great presentation and benefitted further by hearing more positive, honest feedback from those in attendance. It is of no surprise to me that Peggy landed the position that she did. Peggy not only Absorbed the information she took Action and for that I want to Applaud her.
